CONFERENCE DETAILS

GLOBAL STEAM, our Youth Business and Leadership Conference will feature amazing speakers who will narrate their inspiring journeys, while documenting a blueprint for success; via, engaging TED-like talks, panel discussions, live demonstrations and experiential learning. This signature event which borrows the acronym S.T.E.A.M. not only explores careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics but also discovers careers in Sports, Tourism, Entertainment, and Advocacy & Marketing.

CONFERENCE GOALS

The goal of the conference is to give students the ability to gain insight into their own identities including their interests, passions, skills, values, personalities, and future goals through self-assessment, self-reflection, leadership development and active career exploration. Students will also learn the value of personal and professional branding, networking and collaboration, and the benefits of remixing and re-imagining STEAM careers.

CONFERENCE THEME: THE VOICE OF THE VIRTUAL REVOLUTION

Themed The Sound of a Virtual Revolution, this year’s one-day forum will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021– and assemble more than 800 high school & college students on a Livestream. Our 2021 Conference will explore new & reimagined S.T.E.A.M. CAREERS that are adjusting to our new normal, listening to the voice of the people & redefining success in a brand new global marketplace. CONFERENCE FORMAT

The Business Conference will feature TECH Talks short TEDX-like Talks, where presenters individually illustrate their industries in a short yet engaging monologue/panel/fireside chat and then collectively host a simulated Q&A at the very end of their session. The conference will also feature live demonstrations and activations that offer students a birds-eye view of a day in the life of various careers. We would be honored to have your participation this year. Lastly, the conference will provide pre-selected schools around the world with a link to view certain sessions via live stream. We ask that you be available on April 30th from 9am- 11am to answer any questions in the chat. Please review the information below which details the schedule of events:

*Students are more than welcome to attend the full conference or a portion of the conference. However, because we take a multi-dimensional approach to planning this event please note that despite the industry on display all sessions will impart wisdom on transferrable skills needed to acquire success.
